In short. Astro9 is a place where people talk to practitioners about private things. No abuse, no hate, no sexual content, no medical or financial promises, no payment outside Astro9, no pretending to be someone you are not. Adults only. Every report is read by a person and acknowledged within 24 hours. Blocking works immediately and does not wait for anyone.
These are the five rules you agree to before you can send a message or join a session. They are shown in the app, at Profile → Safety & legal → Community & content policy.
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| No abuse, threats or hate | No harassment, sexual content, threats of harm, or attacks based on caste, religion, gender, origin or identity. |
| No medical or financial promises | Practitioners must not claim to cure illness, tell anyone to stop treatment, or guarantee money or outcomes. |
| No payment outside Astro9 | Every consultation is paid for in the app. Requests to pay elsewhere are fraud and should be reported. |
| Be who you say you are | No impersonating another person or claiming credentials you do not hold. |
| Adults only | Astro9 accounts are for people aged 18 and over. |
The rules above in detail. This applies to everything on Astro9: consultation messages, profiles, reviews, photographs, documents, display names and anything said on a voice or video call.
Practitioners accept a code of conduct before their application is submitted, and consent is recorded against the version they accepted. The following conduct ends a practitioner's time on Astro9:
If a client tells you they are in crisis — that they intend to harm themselves or someone else — end the reading, tell them plainly that you are not able to help with this, direct them to emergency services or a crisis helpline, and report it to us. Do not offer a remedy in place of help.
Astro9 generates some readings with artificial intelligence. Every such surface is labelled as AI in the app and is kept separate from the human practitioners, so that you always know which you are talking to.
AI output is not reviewed by a person before you see it, and it can be wrong. It is held to this policy exactly as a person's words would be: if an AI reply breaks these rules — a medical claim, an alarming prediction, anything abusive — report it from the app using Report under the reply. We read those reports, and they are how we find and fix the prompts and guardrails behind them.
Astro9 readings are traditional Vedic interpretation offered for reflection and guidance. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and no outcome is predicted or guaranteed.
Practitioners on Astro9 are independent and are not doctors. Nothing said in a session is medical advice — never stop or change medical treatment because of it. A practitioner will never ask you to pay outside Astro9.
These lines appear in the app wherever a reading is shown. They are not a formality: the single most serious harm this kind of service can do is to stand between someone and their doctor. If anyone on Astro9 tells you to stop treatment, report it — that report matters more than any other.
Reporting takes one tap and is available everywhere content appears:
You choose a reason — harassment, sexual content, hate speech, violence or threats, scam or fraud, impersonation, a medical or financial claim, spam, or something else — and can add your own words.
You do not need the app to report something. Write to spilltv11@gmail.com with what happened and, if you can, when and who. We act on reports from people without an account, and on reports about someone who has blocked you.
When you report something we take a copy of it at that moment. Reported content is often deleted — sometimes by the person who posted it — between the report and the review, and a report with nothing left to look at cannot be acted on.
Blocking takes effect immediately and does not wait for a review.
Once you block someone, they cannot message you, call you, or book a session with you, and you will not see them in the directory. It is enforced on our servers, on every booking and messaging path — not merely hidden in your app.
A block works in both directions. Once either of you has blocked the other, neither can reach the other. This is deliberate: it stops a blocked practitioner from simply booking their way back to you.
Blocking is separate from reporting. You can do either, or both. Blocking someone does not tell us anything is wrong — if something was wrong, please also report it. You can see and undo your blocks at Profile → Safety & legal → Blocked accounts.
Every report is reviewed by a person. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Blocking takes effect immediately and does not wait for a review.
We aim to resolve every report within 15 days. Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats of violence and impersonation are handled within 24 hours.
We will tell you the outcome of your report. We do not share the details of any action taken against another person's account, for their privacy as much as anyone's.
If you report someone and then delete your account, the report survives but is detached from you — your identity is removed from it. Otherwise deleting an account would be a way to erase the evidence against someone.
What we do depends on how serious it is, whether it was deliberate, and whether it has happened before.
| Action | When |
|---|---|
| Content removed | The content breaks these rules but the breach is isolated and not serious |
| Warning | A first breach where the person is likely to correct it |
| Feature restricted | Repeated low-level breaches — for example, losing the ability to review or message |
| Suspension | A serious breach, or repeated breaches after a warning |
| Permanent removal | Sexual content involving a minor, credible threats, fraud, blackmail, telling a client to stop medical treatment, or evading a previous suspension |
| Referred to the authorities | Where we believe a serious crime has been committed |
Where someone is at risk, or where there is fraud, we act first and explain afterwards.
Creating a new account to get around a suspension is itself a breach, and the new account will be removed.
If we removed your content, restricted your account or suspended you and you believe we were wrong, write to spilltv11@gmail.com within 30 days. Tell us what was removed and why you think the decision was wrong.
A different person from the one who made the original decision will review it, and we will reply within 15 days. If we got it wrong we will restore what we removed and say so.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can escalate to our Grievance Officer — see the Terms of Service — and then to the relevant authority.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In India, dial 112.
Astro9 is not a crisis service. We do not monitor consultations in real time and we cannot respond immediately to a message sent to us.
For anything else our safety team can help with, write to spilltv11@gmail.com. This address is published so that a report always has a route that does not depend on the app working, or on you still having an account.
If you believe content on Astro9 infringes your copyright or trade mark, or is unlawful, write to spilltv11@gmail.com with enough detail to find it, an explanation of the right you hold, and a statement that your complaint is made in good faith. We act on valid notices.
We respond to lawful requests from courts and competent authorities. Where we may lawfully tell the affected person about such a request, we do.
We may update this policy as the service changes and as we learn from reports. The version and date at the top of this page tell you which version is in force. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
